FAQ'S
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does a concrete foundation cost in Durango?
Mountain foundations range from $[LOW] to $[HIGH] depending on size, site conditions, and bedrock complexity. Cookie-cutter pricing doesn't work when every site has different geological challenges. We provide detailed estimates after site assessment.
Can you pour concrete in winter?
Yes, with proper planning. We pour year-round when temperatures stay above 40°F and forecasts are clear. We build weather contingencies into every timeline and won't pour if conditions compromise quality.
Why is your concrete more expensive than [competitor]?
It's not. Our pricing reflects the actual work required for mountain conditions. Competitors who quote low either don't understand what your project requires, or plan to hit you with change orders when they discover bedrock, drainage issues, or access challenges we identified up front.
How long does concrete take to cure at elevation?
Longer than sea level. We allow [X] days minimum before load-bearing, [X] days before heavy traffic. Rushing this process causes failure. We schedule properly from day one.
Do you work in Pagosa Springs?
Absolutely. We serve all of Southwest Colorado including Pagosa Springs, Bayfield, Ignacio, and surrounding areas. Travel is included in project pricing.
